these last few years, art has been my recluse, my space to share what i see and hear happening in my worlds.
these pieces divulge into the complexities of this dual consciousness—of experiencing unjust political systems within the US, while family face antiBlackness globally.
it’s been over a year since i last applied and my art has dramatically improved since then (imo).
i started creating digital art in 2020 emphasizing heavy and expressive lines. 2020-2021 developing and refining a style—one shaped from Eritrean orthodox art and symbolism.
