The Pokémon Go intro screen has certainly changed a lot in five years.

This picture by @tomioka2 is over ten years old but is still definitely a mood.

Before Game Freak created Rotom, a Pokémon possibly based on their Pulseman character, Ledian was the most heavily influenced by Pulseman.
But it's pretty baffling that they would base a Pokémon on their beloved character and make that Pokémon one of the worst in the series.
