For a while i was having trouble figuring out what Borisett's true form was, bc Sethos was smog and Diandath was liquid, I was like "what is he, sand??" but then I had a little "aha" moment.

Garron is Rede's soul keeper. He's the one that gave her her insane power and immortality(at the cost of her eye and, ofc, her soul).
They go wayyy, way back. To when she was a child. But he's been around longer than her.

Mike and his mother's relationship was very strained and strange. Like yeah he hates the shit out of her and she despises him equally and they haven't spoken in literal years but if one died the other would still be torn to shreds.
