Beach Cave is the tutorial dungeon for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky. The beach outside is where the player character and their partner meet for the first time in the games, comics, and anime.

Post Town is a location in the Mist Continent, where most of Pokémon MD Gates to Infinity takes place. It's a rest stop for travelers thanks to its water and inn. It's based on the real life post towns that were created for travelers in Japan during the Edo period.
