So I watch the animated Doctor Strange movie that came out 15 years ago, and that might be a contender for one of the most boring animated movies I've ever seen. All it made me want to do was watch the MCU movie because it did nearly everything better

I find it so fascinating how the 1970s is considered the least memorable era for TV animation. It's not that anything came out, it's just barely anything of note came out.

Hanna Barbera put out over 50 cartoons in the 70s, and only 3 or 4 have left some sort of cultural impact.

If you are going to use the original cast, I think you should do it in a creative way. Have the original actors come back as another character, have them play an AU version of the character, or have them reprise a character for an easter egg or a more minor role they had played
