I found out it's Treasure Planet's 16th anniversary today. See it, it's my favorite Disney movie and one of my favorite films period.
Sidenote with that Hazbin musical number. The amount of variety in background characters, even for just half a second is amazing. The last time I think I saw anything animated with this much variety in background characters was probably Osmosis Jones or Monsters Inc.
I don't know if this is controversial or not, but I miss self contained cartoon. I do enjoy the more story driven shows on nowadays like Steven Universe, Voltron, and Ducktales, but I miss cartoons that didn't really need to have much of a narrative throughout the entire series.
I've watched several episodes of that new Netflix series, Hilda, and I think this might be one of my favorite Netflix originals. It's fun, & has a very laid back yet whimsical tone. If you like the mystery or character dynamics in Gravity Falls/Over the Garden Wall you'll love it
I love how expressive the characters are in Hazbin Hotel. It brings a big smile to my face seeing this ridiculously smooth animation.
For only having a 6 million dollar budget compared to the 15-30 million dollar animated films being made at the time, the Transformers Movie still looks amazing.
Ghost Stories is one of the best anime ever made and I will hear no different.
