Speaking of their anklets, Martin wore a pair of Mhachi anklets for over a few years that contained their aether and was actually killing them. In order to get them off, they asked a friend to cut their feet off. It worked but there was consequences and so Martin has ankle scars

Now back when I first started writing Martin in (2015?), they were primarily a dancing cat. A battle dancer. Their trainer rigged up body jewelry to help them spin their tail and keep from dancing on it. Martin doesn't wear this much anymore as they've learned how to on their own
