@Vampuffin Hm-- you can cover troublesome spots with dustproofing fabric like the first pic, and/or artificial muscle (use anatomical references) like the 2nd. I like using the head, chest, and lower legs as "hard points" where I put all the angular armored pieces 🤔🤔

Couple of detail shots :] I chose to base the costume off of a lapped vulture, which has a fleshy hood and even a fancy neck-frill!!! very nice!!!!!!! When I come back to this design I'm gonna make it look more corpsey and add some extra toolbelt stuff.
