Inspired my mother's favourite candy which is caramel, I give you lady Caramilk. When designing her, I wanted to capture the essence of the beloved chocolate in how mystery and a certain amount of high class is associated with it.
We kind of saw this coming, but next in the candy character lineup is Oh! Henry. Before I became allergic to nuts, this was my go to candy. It was like a hug in your mouth. If it was personified, I would picture "Henry" as being a big sweetheart.
And here is the funky and fabulous candy character Dots! Because of the theme of the candy, it reminded me of the eighties and the requester wanted the candy to be a lady, so I created an eighties belle.
And next in line is my favourite candy personified Twix! As you can see, they are energetic twins. If they have a British feel, it is because Twix actually originated in the UK hence the shortbread cookies inside of them.
This fun addiction in the candy character lineup is Daifuku Mochi. I wanted to capture the eclectic side of Japanese fashion through the mochi colours and shapes since Japan is world renowned for its fashion in general. Because of that, I wanted her to be fun and playful.
While they technically have personas, here are the M&M's as people. Specifically, Red and Yellow who are the two main guys. When making them, I wanted their colours to match as much as possible with them as candy, but I didn't like having them wear gloves.
And here we got the latest candy personified: Riesens! Fun fact about them is that they are German and the word "riesen" means "giant". When I researched this, it automatically made me think that the character should be an athlete.
Next up in the candy personification lineup is the famous chocolate bar Bounty! Since it is coconut nougat on the inside, I figured the most fitting type of character for it would be a hula girl.
Next up in the candy personified lineup is Pihlaja. Hence the name and description of it being known as the "fox candy" that is known for its aesthetics, what came to mind was a foxy supermodel. Even the name "Pihlaja" sounds feminine. I tried to give her fox like qualities too.
