I think I may have found yet another brush that'd be good for shading. Its super responsive to sensitivity and has some texture to it. Especially great for hair and clothing folds.

Reposted my Carilly loop cause I messed her eyes up before and I couldn't just let it slide.

Spoilers: it's dotted shading. I have no idea why I haven't thought of this before. It's going to take a little bit more brush-tweaking but at least now I know what to shoot for.
