Scans from the 1st 7-inch single released for the Kimagure Orange Road TV anime, containing the show's 1st OP by Masanori Ikeda. Scanned by me and restored by a friend.

Not sketches, but these were included as well. Probably for height reference or something?

Haven't found HQ scans online for Fujimaru Yoshino's self-titled debut LP—so I've went & scanned my copy to fix that. Restored by a friend.
This is the special DJ copy I tweeted about a while ago, but all that's different is the sticker on the front cover's bottom right

Not the first time I tweet this out, but just another gentle reminder as to why you should always de-screen your stuff...(preferably with the Sattva plug-in for Photoshop)

In the middle of scanning more old anime vinyl artwork when I stumbled upon this in the preview. 🦎🦎🦎

Does anybody know the artist for the Peppermint Age 80s manga? Got my scans for the LP album restored, was gonna tweet them w/the artist name credited but I'm not sure who it is.
I am 100% positive I've seen this style elsewhere under a different name that ISN'T Etsuko Maeda.

Another proof of concept.
Once again, left is raw...right is the fixed up version https://t.co/FjkMOnJ9vg

Here's a funny one, taken from the cutscene when the Repliforce declares independence.
On one hand, cropping it from 4:3 to 16:9 was truly a shame for some footage, but on the other hand...leaving it in 4:3 would've resulted with some visible painting flaws like in this scene.

So, a while ago I bought a Japanese guide book for Mega Man X4.
Don't really care for this kind of stuff, but it came to my attention that the book contained selected frames from the game's cutscenes, and in 4:3 full frame no less—an oddity considering the FMVs were in 16:9...
