I learned to make fat faces too!
In shading there's still something off about it, can't pull real look and have to spend way too much fighting blurriness.
Photo studies are easy, but original concepts are less forgiving.
I gotta search more, find the secret ingredient.
True ascension! I learned to draw fattened paws and this felt so good. They look better that way!
The time I got painting right. I did a study, copied lighting from reference photo and learned some things.
Original concepts are still troubling though as it's not as easy to get right without direct reference.
Linework was pretty messy, and shapes were very deformed anatomy also wasn't good, with lack of proper perspective, they just go whatever line fits.
I was experimenting with adding more detail and study to drawings compared to 2019.

I was experimenting with paintings, with intention of realism. Beginning of 2020.
Paintings used to have massive amount of... ambient occlussion. Everything just was drowned in shadows, with need to separate every single shape. And mess in general.
