After seeing the first 3 chapters of Dark Road, I’m more eager to learn the truth of his life more than any. I serialist can’t tell you enough how truly excited I am to see this conclude.

I remember so vividly the day I saw the secret endings of KH2 back when we did not have final mixes in the states. Seeing older Xehanort (was unnamed to me at the time) made me want to learn more. Never thought it would come to this when we are so close to know the full truth.

I don’t entirely know what truly brought me to enjoy him. His design, his skill, intelligence. Or maybe I related to his loneliness and understanding his motivation (in a sense) at that age. He was the character I wanted to learn more of the most of all the characters in KH.

In honor of Dark Road’s upcoming finale AND in celebration of @BenjaminDiskin, I figured I’d share some artwork dedicated to Young Xehanort. I’ve never been so passionate for a character up till KH3 released. THIS IS A YX APPRECIATION THREAD! 🖤🤍💛

With Dark Road hopefully updating next month, I decided to redraw a scene from the trailer in my vision. If you notice, I couldn’t pick which to upload because his eyes in both colors were really cool! Time to keep our eyes pealed for the update 👀
