“Tomorrows horizons are here, today”
Diving into the piece I painted of Horizons – a sorely missed attraction that probably inspired an entire generation of Imagineers and spawned the line “If you can dream it, you can do it!” 1/
I pretend not to have favorites, but of the 7 pieces that I currently have in EPCOT, Universe of Energy is my favorite. It’s a piece that holds a lot of memories for me and I think it gracefully captures several visual components of the attraction in a single statement. 1/
The Disney Conservation Fund is working to protect coral reefs, sea turtles, sharks, and other sea creatures from extinction. In a way, I took inspiration from myself and the sea turtle Conservation Hero badges that I designed a while ago … still available at The Seas! 3/
Diving into the Spaceship Earth painting I did for EPCOT. It’s the icon of the park and in many ways, an icon for the future. The front entrance just received a beautiful facelift and Spaceship Earth has never felt so optimistic! It’s definitely a feeling I wanted to capture. 1/
@MitchGerads WITHOUT saying your age post, please post 4 albums that came out when you were 14.
It’s National Wolf Awareness Week and I’m capping it off with this new gray wolf painting. Gray wolves are ancestral North American predators. Their territory was once widespread across the continent but they were hunted to near extinction in the United States.
Will this year ever stop taking from us!? What will it pummel us with next?
RIP Eddie Van Halen – you inspired the world to shred.
