Out spreading the word about the & our 35th anniversary this year. Don’t forget that this Tuesday- March 1, 2022 at 7pm, we will return to in-person dinner meetings at Garibaldi’s Pizza near the UofM! This will begin our monthly 1st Tuesdays of the month gatherings.

I’ve always called it “Duo-Shade” or “Duo-Tone”. Had Mike Ramirez introduce me to it when he was the editorial cartoonist here in Memphis, TN. I used some for an art show invite. Had A & B chemicals that revealed lines in different directions creating 2 shades of “grey”.

Don Newton’s “The Phantom” 💀 I remember buying this issue at a corner grocery around the corner from Graceland on a newsstand. It was the first time I had seen The Phantom & one of the first painted covers I can remember discovering.
