Head back to the garden on the first day of Spring! Tomie Arai’s “Back to the Garden” (2007) at Pelham Parkway (2/5) station features flora that are common to the area of Pelham Parkway, which links Pelham Bay Park with the Bronx Zoo, and New York Botanical Garden.
Gaby D’Allesandro’s new art card, “Arriving in Nature” is inspired by how the subway can help us escape the everyday bustle of NYC, taking us to botanical gardens and parks around the city and connecting us to nature.
