@rccinema1 The "vehicle" seems to be a 75mm howitzer M1A1 antitank canon. It matches the artwork pretty close. Here are a few storyboards of Dante charging it using his Devil Trigger. Anyway, all traces were removed from retail because Mikami thought it was too close to Bio.
I interviewed Isao Oishi, character designer of Resident Evil 1&2, about a decade ago. He sent an illustration on the spot to demonstrate how colors were used for STARS officer's personalities and a picture of Chris he drew in marker after leaving Capcom. #REBHFun #residentevil
Found something neat in Devil May Cry. A scrap of paper appears to be from an early volume of Britannica. Another one looks Spanish @re4hdproject? I imagine it's a leftover from RE4, which had the setting of a roughly 500-year old Lord Spencer. @cloudi_skye #DevilMayCry
Resident Evil 0 (2002). ID'd this one ages ago. The frescoed ceiling in the hall of the executive training school is based on one from Sant'Ignazio, Rome. RE0 truly is the Italian Resident Evil. #REBHFun #ResidentEvil
So, @GroovyCountdown asked for more Evil Dead: Hail to the King stuff. Here it is... Model from the first trailer (called ASHES 2 ASHES), early start screen that utilized the cabin from the film and one of about a dozen scrapped Kandarian Demons. @EvilDeadNews @NightdiveStudio
In fact, the paintings in Veronica are probably the toughest to ID, but @hongo_sorongo and I found a few. For instance, old Thomas Ashford here is based on a portrait of Edgar Degas that was modified and combined with rusted metal (same for the other Ashfords). #ResidentEvil
Speaking of RE2 (1998), here's the floor pattern for the RPD's east hall, Goddess fountain and from the walkway in Gun Survivor... @ClassicREMods #REBHFun #ResidentEvil #modding
