She-Ra avoids hitting people with her sword; her "blast wave" creates a condensed blast of air and blows the enemies away. Mermista has the blast wave too.

Catra drew blood when she scratched She-Ra. If injuries were shown realistically the show would be a lot bloodier.

This defense maneuver would have killed the Horde soldiers on board the hovercraft if they had not jumped off before it crashed into the cliffside & exploded. (She-Ra herself has, naturally, taken beatings and hits that would have killed a lesser being many times over.)

After the heat bombs went off in Frosta's castle, the falling pieces of ice could have easily killed anyone they happened to hit but (conveniently) everyone managed to avoid them... Or if someone was knocked down / buried under ice it was not shown, but the risk was real.

...As would everyone present in the collision between Dragon's Daughter Three (in flames) and the Horde ship, if they had not jumped into the sea at the last moment. They survived because they acted fast, not because the Rebellion was concerned for their lives.

Mermista is blunt and tells it like it is: "[The Seagate] is getting weaker every day. And if the Horde tries to attack us again, we're pretty much dead." There's no way we could misunderstand that.

I saw someone tweet that no one has probably actually died in SPOP. Maybe Hordak, Catra, Scorpia, Entrapta etc. are not guilty of casualties after all? Or the Rebellion at least? I disagree. Here's why:

Before Hordak's arrival the Scorpion people were in contact with their runestone.
For almost a 1000 years, the planet was "balanced" but there was no She-Ra to weaponize it.
Then the Black Garnet was lost to the Horde and caused imbalance.
Only then She-Ra appeared.
