Kyoichiro has become Mount Fuji! It is said that dreaming of Mt. Fuji, a Hawk and and eggplant will give good luck in the new year. The three are meant to represent reaching your goal. There's also great fireworks around Mount Fuji on new year's celebrations.

We see Goliath and Kengo dressed up as Tigers, this is quite obviously referencing how 2022 is the year of the tiger according to the Chinese zodiac. Its only fitting that our pet animal and cat body dress to match the occasion.

This chapter has gives us a gorgeous colour page to celebrate the new year. There's quite a lot of new years imagery here and I'll try to point out a few key ones.

We've got quite an interesting colour page for the new year.

We have a Nanao focused chapter this time, with a pretty funny incident. We get a bit on an update on the roots situation so I can only assume that's setting up for the next chapter!

Not much to go over this week, just a cute and wholesome chapter with everyone's 2nd favourite pet dog. Next chapter is probably going to be a chill one too, it is kinda nice how this series manages to be two quite different genres througout at the same time.

Also this isn't the first we've gotten about Itsuwa. We heard about her in Chapter 50, for making the soothing elixir, Momo mentioned she told him about the Absorption technique in 102 and she seems to match one of the shadows in chapter 203.
