No. 28: Sandslash

Sandslash has a myriad of defenses on its side--first it runs at top speed to kick up a dust storm, then it cuts down blinded opponents with its enormous claws. When all else fails, much like Sandshrew, Sandslash will curl up into a spiny ball.

Sandshrew has a brick-like hide that is nearly impenetrable. If Sandshrew were to fall from a great height, it would simply into a ball and bounce it off. However, it avoids water like the plague, and will dig itself a burrow to hide from rain and snow.
