I've talked a lot about how Kirishima helps Bakugou, but one of the biggest moments was when Bakugou, after hearing Kirishima talking bad about himself, encouraged him & told him he was stronger than he claimed to be. And this inspired Kirishima to unblock his Unbreakable form.

After the rescue, Bakugou seems upset to see Kirishima's frustrated expression, and admitted himself that he felt bad and gave Kirishima money to compensate for the 'night vision goggles'. This was the first time Bakugou had tried to comfort a classmate and had acted so soft

He knew that he was breaking the rules by going to save him, and that there could be consequences, but his priority was to save his friend at all costs. He felt powerless for not having been able to prevent the kidnapping, so he felt that the least he could do was try to save him

At sports festival, Kiri knew exactly what to say to Bakugou to get him to accept him as a teammate & to raise his spirits. It's also the first time Bakugou called one of his classmates by his name. Plus Kirishima helps him calm down & lightens the atmosphere when it's needed
