Almost 22 years of Spyro. Time does fly.

In 2010, Helios Interactive released a game proposal to Activison on Toys For Bob's Spyro's Kingdom. It was an MMORPG that was based on The Legend of Spyro universe and a playable demo was public for download. After fans discovered it however, the demo and the page were removed.

Hm... so we got The Art of #Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, then there's The Art of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time book coming out in a few months.

...I wonder if they’ll do an artbook on the next Spyro game and have it released in the year as its game release.

While developing #Skylanders after #Spyro's Kingdom, Toys For Bob created a universe that could introduce new heroes, but to also honor the history of Spyro and Cynder. For many fans, Skylanders represented a fresh start for both characters. #TBT

An early story draft on #TheLegendofSpyro would've revealed #Spyro's lineage in stages and build up the notion that his father was possibly Ignitus or Malefor. The concept was to re-occur across the three Legend games, but it didn’t pan out.
