1983: Magical Angel

This is hands down my favourite Magical Girls from the pre-sailormoon era! Very pretty artstyle, songs, and the best plot! The ending is happy but so emotional🥹

Currently reading "The Spoiled Princess", and is one of my favourite mangas.

1990: Magical Angel Sweet Mint

One of the final magical girls that help themselves with magic before the Sailor Moon era. Produced by Aichi Productions the same studio as Sweet as the title says and has some good transformation sequences since it was already the 90s

1994:

The other Magical Girl series created by CLAMP besides The way the characters are drawn and the battles are amazing! The story gets darker with every episode and were some mindblowing plotwists, it feels hard, but the ending was beautiful! 🙂

1995:

A very inspired series in Sailor Moon, especially since they share some the staff, same character desinger and it was created by one of the scripwriters (Sukehiro Tomita), the anime was alright, but specially enjoyed the OVAs.
Gotta get the manga soon!

1997: Utena, the Revolutionary Girl

A very deep one, that requires many understandment after you finish watching it, only 39 episodes but very moving, great visuals, animation and battles for the time!

2002: Ojamajo Doremi Dokkaan!

My absolute favourite season from the series! I believe that what made the ending be that heartwrenching is that the series used to be lighthearted, and then the serious topics at the end made it super depressive! It was hard for me to overcome it🤧

2004: Futari wa Precure

A classic. The first season was good, Cure Black is my second favourite Cure in the franchise, s2 no, really boring lol. That's why i haven't included a 2005 entry, bc i don't like that one and i don't know any other series from that year.
