@CSTLVNA_weekly Castlevania X68000 for the Sharp X68000 is easily my favourite. Excellent graphics, an OST full of bangers (as is the Castlevania standard lol), challenging and fun bosses, and several loops of increasing difficulty. It’s my second-favourite Classicvania overall after Rondo. 💜👌🏻

Richter only wears a sword in his belt in one of his artworks from SotN (not even the SotN manga has him wearing one), so for the sake of making it easier to animate his sprite later, I decided it would be reasonable to remove it. 👍

After finding an unused (or mostly unused, at least) sprite of coat-wearing Richter Belmont from Castlevania: SotN within an old interview with IGA, I've spent the past few days remaking this sprite to be as artwork-accurate as possible. 💜
