It seems someone in the palace decided to dip into the dark arts and summoned a shadow snake. It seems to have Shai set as it's target.

This was interesting to try but my god it's harder than I thought it would be.

These two just wanted a siesta in the trees. The Arbok wanted a meal. Clearly there is an impasse here.
