I remember awhile back there was some artist discourse on pastel artists drawing black characters with paler skin. And like, idk if pastel artists know this, but if you change the colour of the line art, you can make things more pastel without whitewashing.

My cousin asked me to do art for my nephews to match their rooms. dino theme for one, and surfer theme for the other. This was tricky since it’s out of my usual artistic range, but I think I managed to do pretty well. Still have a few more to do for her
