I toss around a lot of superlatives around here, because I only post what I love.

But, GODDAMN, this is may be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. @Philjimeneznyc has created something unique and visceral in this book.

Just go get it.

This was a heavy book, but well worth the read.

He draws contour and shading lines on the bodies in those columns. Look at those boulders, artists wet their pants thinking about drawing boulders like that. Perez doesn’t play

Bachalo is a chamelon, his style varies from hyper realistic to hyper stylized and everywhere in between. This series was a masterpiece, weird, evocative and beautiful. Fegredo's covers are dramatic and visually arresting

Zircher’s Conan is my new favorite Conan, even when he’s in armor you know it’s Conan as Zircher is consistent in the way he draws/poses his characters. That’s what top their artists bring to the page. You are missing out on terrific art if you haven’t been reading this.
