I've been saying this since the August Direct and I'm definitely not shutting up about it now. After the Joker announcement, it feels more likely than ever somehow.
I just really want them in Smash, so I'll cling onto every bit of hope I can find.

Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia.
He was a Mii costume in Smash 4 and Bandai Namco is co-developing Smash, so I feel like he has a shot.
+ he doesn't seem to have a spirit in Ultimate, which doesn't have to mean anything, but is still kinda interesting to me.
