I always identify it earliest with Mylo Xyloto (2011) by Coldplay, in terms of pop culture. It appears from Instagram's current logo to Wyldstyle from The LEGO Movie (2014) to Cartoon Network's current design.

One of the things that confused me about Bionicle growing up, during 2005 (IMO one of the weakest years), is how there were flashbacks inside of flashbacks.

2004-2005 were already flashback years, but spent time giving backstory comics for Roodaka & Toa Hagah, hard to comprehend

I can't recall many but I did build a small base (photos lost on old hard drive / to time) that was compatible with these sets I owned. Also started a comic with them based on it.

I grew up in the "Mania" age of LEGO in the 90's, with the Mania club Magazines & Maniac mascot.

I also obsess over building brands & do alot of things at irregular times, compared to the average person.
