What I've been doing today.

During yesterdays drizzle ( and whilst someone was watching the football ) finished off a few of the sketches I'd started on the Isle of Skye. Woke up to much better views from the cottage this morning. Watercolours are beckoning.

My Derwentwater acrylic painting is progressing nicely - I’m liking the drama. My Ullswater pastel painting is a completely different mood from my Derwent one and I'm thinking more drama - or am I being influenced by the boldness of the Derwent acrylic?
