The fourth and final environment in a set of four similar paintings, all done in tone only.

This one is a four-point perspective upward view of a library in a forest of tall trees. The angles aren't very dramatic because of the placement, but it still looks neat.

I made these the day after I had the dream, but compositionally they weren't very good. While it might not be exactly how it looked in the dream, I'd say compositionally it wound up far better.

Though a big cave with spires and bottomless pits could be something I do one day...

The distinct artichoke-shaped building of an ancient civilization, now warped and marred by the passage of time and tectonic forces.

Inspired by a dream and now turned into a full-fledged landscape, it proves that watching all those ancient history shows paid off!
