I was mainly inspired by Mario Bros Classic that comes with like every gba mario game, but I don't think it resembles Mario Bros Classic that much anymore lol
also translating high res art to pixel art is a fun process

also wanted to change the color of her outfit but ultimately stuck with pink so here are the other colors I considered
