@tobobobo @TLtwg Don't forget the amazing loading screens by F.D. Thorpe. It was those screens that made me want to do my own when I was still at school #OceanSoftware #ZXSpectrum

New #OceanSoftware #ZXSpectrum discovery - 26 February 1985 Ocean demo transmitted on Channel 4's '4 Computer Buffs' -recorded by holding a tape recorder up to the TV speaker. This Ocean section was missing from the previous version. Thanks to Gavin Worby & Steven Brown (@Gilby6)
Had a go at tidying up this unique #RogerTissyman artwork. 1st is the original, 2nd is the cleaned up version with the 2nd word added (doesn't make sense just to have "Matthew" written on it). Best we have until I find a physical copy of the mag to do a fresh scan with.
Had this been completely redrawn? Traced then coloured in? Or has the head just been added? Tissyman's signature is evident on the redone pic (near left heel) but not on the original. What do you think?
An interesting look at Mikro-Gen from the June 1985 issue of #SinclairUser &ad for their then 4th coming game. Includes ,probably, the 1st mention of Shadow of the Unicorn, tho the title& ill-fated interface that finished off the company, isn't mentioned #ZXSpectrum #retrogaming
1st issue of Sinclair User I got was issue 28 from July 1984 (pic1). Started buying it every month from Sept 1985 (buying Crash & YS was enough for a while). 1986 is easily my fav year of this mag. Later Bear related issues were a bit2 babyish for me so f*cked it off #ZXSpectrum
