@BrandiYorkArt's inspiration came with the idea of an autumn fairy visiting the trees to encourage the change into fall. She used a lot of layering and blending, with just a touch of white gel pen and 5 of the 6 #CopicColors, as the BG05 wasn't quite working with the mix.

Taira's inspiration for August's #CopicColors was to utilize the basic mixture of yellow and blue to create green, which is one of the anime character's Shera Greenwood's primary outfit colors.
What techniques do you use when working with a limited color palette?
Repost from Copic Manga. Look at the gradient achieved using just August's three #CopicColors!
We cannot get over this #CopicColors piece created by @ElsaSketch.
Elsa was inspired to create something for her love of avians. "I used B02, B24 and Y00 on their own for the bird & woman and combined all 3 to create different shades of green for the leaves in the background."
Brendan Loscar found inspiration for #CopicColors in storms out on the ocean tied in with some mythical elements. The dragon is the Lightning Guardian, protecting those that are pure of heart, while the girl is a girl version of Poseidon - just appropriated to today's culture.
Here's your sneak peek of August's #CopicColors! Can you guess next month's three colors from this sketch?

How incredible is this bird by @AMPopplewell using July's #CopicColors?
What have you been creating with BG23, BG49, & BG96? Show us with #CopicColors.
Last week, we posted @drawingupastorm's piece for July's #CopicColors. We also wanted to share this piece he did, which he calls "The Electric-Eyed Elf," which he created as a warm-up. He thought it turned out pretty neat, and so did we that we just had to share.
We first discovered @jj9828 when she participated in #CopicColors earlier this year, and we are beyond thrilled to share her story as our featured artist for June!
