Three years ago, I started painting dahlias in Bishop's Garden

Dahlias bloom through late October, so paintings will continue like water rushing down from a mountain stream.

Beyond grateful to have been given access to a walled garden to paint for a few days capturing irises. I'm off to paint and catch the hedgerow... it's all so beautiful and fleeting. The unstoppable Persephone. Love beyond measure.

These cassis coloured iris were painted onsite in a friends garden. I paint from life and make it my own, I write in little bits of poetry inspired by the day, an opening with all my blossoms engulfing you coming very soon.

What's left behind of the cover crop. Looking towards Lady Ann's Drive from the drift... it's a delicate balance of conservation and agriculture. This year, I've noticed marshes flooded to feed the migratory birds, so happy to share.
