Another practice illustration based on @dtbreitstein in her White Rabbit fit. Much happier with the final results of this one. Feels it stands very well on the lineart and flats alone.
Next I need to focus on improving how i render clothing next, to get where i want style wise.

Improving with this new process/ style. Getting to where I’m happy with just lineart and flats. I want to have shading, lighting, gradients etc, be like a nice extra, but i dont want that to be what my art leans on. where i feel like i have to do it, for a piece to look finished.

A little better. Very close to cracking this new process.

Some more practice. Got closer to my art style goal with this. Feels like it stands on it own without any extensive shading. Far from perfect and need a lot more practice to get it second nature. But its a start.
