The neutrophil character I have in mind acts as support for the squad with her medical knowledge and skills, that isn't to say she doesn't fight. I've thought of how to design her that fits her character and wound up with a simple dress suit and medical cape from WW2.
Proto idea
On the other hand there's anime's version of retelling the deities such as the fate franchise and records of ragnarok. I like how ragnarok gave buddha a modern look and his fangs. And let's not forget about Tiamat.
