Tol Sirion (2010) for #MiddleEarthMarch prompt 'towers'. Architecture of Middle-earth has always been my favourite subject.
This is a relatively old picture, but one that I still like and it is also interesting as it shows one of the lesser known places of Middle-earth.
The Silmarils herealdic device – my redraw of Tolkien's own heraldic design. Made for Inktober 2021 prompt "Crystal"
J. R. R. Tolkien invented a whole system of elvish heraldry, but there is only one known device that is designated for objects instead of a person: the Silmarils.
Merry Christmas! 🎄
Winter in the Shire. ❄️☃🌨️🛷❄️ A picture that I first drew before Christmas 2020. It was originally a landscape format but recently I decided to use it for one of my vertical bookmarks, so I somewhat extended the original picture.
I hope you like it! 🙂
The Flight of Elwing – finished at last after more than two years! 😅 What do you think about the result? 🙂
The picture is now also available in my Etsy shop: https://t.co/vhBf8Lfvvf
Blue Mountains 🏔 A simple picture I made back in 2015. This was for me an obvious idea for a prompt "blue" in a monthly challenge i was doing back then.
The original Minas Tirith – the Tower of Watch on the island of Tol Sirion, built by Finrod Felagund.
An old picture from 2010, at the time I think one of my best, now I was reminded of it thanks to the #inktober2021watch prompt.

Dol Guldur – the dreadful fortress of the Necromancer (i.e. Sauron) in the southern Mirkwood.
It's an old picture of mine (2008), but in fact one of the oldest that I am still quite satisfied with.
