@stillindigo oh if its backgrounds you're doing then maybe it's better to use blender? i know @39daph uses blender to model her backgrounds to trace over and some other program to get the right camera perspective (forgot the name). zBrush is better for character models (example renders below)

I love how much the cowl follows skull anatomy as opposed to muscle anatomy like other cowls do, the Zygomatic and Temporal parts of the skull being in the cowl is really interesting (pic of my cowl sculpt so it's easier to see) a really nice departure from other cowl designs. https://t.co/Utu4sHzNUC
