I honestly feel for all the developers that had their vision diminished by necessary cuts. The promise of future expansions to this world has the potential to deliver on the original world they had planned out. I hope that we get to see these ideas materialize as 343i adds more.

What happened to all the ambient wildlife? Think about seeing enemies patrolling, getting ambushed by marines - or just seeing Brutes relaxing, and Sentinels being mysterious in the background. The potential is there for tons of little things that would make the world feel alive.

The open world aspect of the game has such potential, but currently feels like the framework for something much more enticing. All these concepts show what could have been, and what was cut to create the game we ended up with.
