What was pointed out to me was how Jesse would express so much through just the hands. Not to say that the rest of his body language wasn't also exquisite. But just check out those hands on their own!

A little thread.

My favorite part about this drawing is Jake's fingers. I rarely feel comfortable about drawing fingers. I started paying more attention to that after an artist I interned for had turned me on to the late, great Jesse Hamm's work (who I also interned for).
