GOODBYE HUMIDTIY! Here's the first classic blast of true fall, fresh air. The yellow/orange colors represent muggy air. The blue is dry air. Watch as the eastern 1/3 of the country is removed from the humidity. Ahhhh, fresh air!
Watching a storm system for late weekend and early next week. *WAY* too early to talk about exact impacts. Could be a decent snowmaker depending on exact track... or mix with some ice. Worth watching. Stay tuned in the coming days.
As we kick off November, all signs continue to point towards a stretch of a week or more of temperatures in the middle to upper 60s and sunshine locally. Yard work procrastinators like myself rejoice! May make a run at 70° a few days!!
While the tornado threat locally (Indiana/Michigan) isn't high, it's not zero. Out in Northern Illinois, it's a different story. These marks here represent favorable areas where long-lived tornadoes are possible Saturday evening. SPC hatched area resembles this.
