Here's what I get if I increase the weight of "grayscale" in the prompt. Left is grayscale::1.5 and right is grayscale::2. The more weight I give to the non-Obama terms, the less Obama the image gets.

So. With that out of the way, let's try some variations. The full prompt here is "Barack Obama::1 grayscale::1 --ar 2:3 --seed 1". I notice that there's a little bit more change happening here than JUST the color saturation. And that's kind of interesting.

That "::1" bit defines the weight or importance of the term (1 being the default), "--ar 2:3" is the aspect ratio, and "--seed 1" sets the seed for the generator so that I can get more consistent results. Running the same prompt again produces ALMOST identical Obamas.

I'm testing out different prompt modifiers with help from Midjourney Obama. He doesn't QUITE look like the real Obama, but he does at least look like a human being, which can be difficult for this AI. The prompt I used here was "Barack Obama::1 --ar 2:3 --seed 1".

These were generated from "undervalued torpid gimmicky blandishment". I can't take any credit, here. I'm just sifting through random visualizations of the collective unconscious, at this point.

...Anyway, to be clear, the King in Blue is not intruding on literally all of my Midjourney stuff. For example, I thought about Welcome to Night Vale and asked the AI to generate the Glow Cloud. No blue guy! Not even a Hooded Figure.

Still getting the blue guy in Midjourney. So I leaned into it and asked for "The King in Blue".

I officially give in. I welcome my new friend and collaborator. Get used to seeing this guy in everything I do, I guess.

Okay, wow. Removing the handful of names that remained at the end of my previous testing process (Richard Corben, Paul Lehr, Carcosa) from that earlier, non-Beksiński prompt did not get rid of the blue figure.

Anyway, turns out it was that Midjouney favorite, Beksiński! I don't associate his work with blue cloaks, and I had his name weighted pretty low in the mix, but it MUST have been him. The moment I took him out, I got this. Dunno who this is, but he ain't wearing a cloak!
