The absolutely magical Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Red Head', dressed in morning dew in the grass borders @RHSWisley. This might just be my favourite ornamental grass.

A few of my houseplants mentioned by @Botanygeek on Fridays @BBCGQT feature, repeated again this Sunday! He managed to fall in love with the succulents despite the variegated Gasteria! 🙄

Cornus kousa ‘Miss Satomi’ is still putting on a wonderful show @RHSWisley - this must be week three in full colour. Superb thing, flowering exceptionally well with the branches smothered with bracts.

Our monster #Doryanthes palmeri @RHSWisley in the Temperate House is now in full bloom! Never flowered under glass with the RHS before, this plant has been with us some 18 years.

A peril of working @RHSWisley is the amazing selection of plants available in the Plant Centre. Today I failed to walk past #Sansevieria ‘Sansiam Ulimi’ with its silvery leaves and copper margins. Lord knows where I’ll put it. I had no choice but to buy it. 🤦‍♂️ #houseplant
