I’ve collected a lot of assets over the years, and is putting a lot of it to good use for this game 🙂

@Enichan I tried the palette out with some automated scripts I have, taking randomly generated portrait pics and making them lowres/pixelized, using your palette. I think it works really well! (Not really a substitute for hand pixeled stuff, but I thought it could be fun to see anyway)

It also includes a thousand randomly generated character portraits, to populate your games with (but you could of course use your own if you prefer), and these are also put through the same palettization as the location images.

If an album has multiple discs you can select all discs or individual discs. If a track has a "featuring" or "with" or similar attribution, it is again displayed next to each track name.

Four games that came out when I was 14

Sketch of a made up floppy disc format. I imagine these being somewhere between a 3.5" floppy and a Zip disc. Maybe 32MB capacity or so. Thick like a Zip disc, slightly bigger than a 3.5" floppy. I like the idea of a square label - especially for game discs, to fit more artwork.

And here are all the icons and cursors I could find to extract from it.

I was playing around in heroforge (a site for making custom miniatures), and it is so much fun to just design characters :) Making these kinda makes me wanna make a game with this aesthetic (but with my own assets, obviously).
