I then pivoted my focus to building my own carton car character, Max, which I've been drawing since 2017.
One amazing project was my collaboration with @choopiedoodles, where we drew each other's characters in our own styles.
(She trumped mine with that Doraemon alone! ❤️)
I eventually stopped minting VF-related fan art out of respect for the brand (I hadn't known any better before that 😅), but these were some of my faves:
I went on to create more fan art and NFTs, which further fueled my love for the technology—but also my sense of responsibility to freely give back to my community via knowledge and/or fun goodies.
Airdrops like this one became the first-ever NFTs for many people!
My 1st-ever NFT, inspired by my Alert Ape and my then-owned Courageous Cockatoo. Legit got into NFTs bc of @veefriends, to which I'll forever be grateful for unlocking my passion right before I turned 40. 🙏
(P.S. Good thing my fan art doesn't look like official VF2s! 😂)
Amazing work—the quiet kind but no less impactful—by Danny. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Proud to be a @creatureworld holder https://t.co/yAn40mG0te
TBT to some of my early @veefriends fan art (circa May 2021) now that #veefam is way bigger.
Kicking it off with Flex’n Fox, inspired by the style and swag of:
- @DJFlash4eva and the Furious Five
- @RevRunWisdom and Run-DMC

@MarianoJurich @veefriends Thank you! Ooh, you have an olm! Here’s my olm fan art from last year! 🤗🤗🤗
So so so so excited for this collab between @veefriends and @starter with the Alert Ape!
Just claimed my jacket (courtesy of @garyvee)!
New kid owner: “The corgi was my favorite. The cotton candy and rainbow come second, but all of the animals are super, duper cute!”
I’m just thrilled and humbled to be creating fun memories. 🤗🙏🏼❤️
