Also keep in mind that Pokemon Legends Arceus is coming out NEXT year so I'm sure some of the odd little graphical hiccups in the presentation will be polished out by then.
It seems like this is what Game Freak is prioritizing since the Gen 4 remakes are being handled by ILCA.

how often do we see that thing where a video game character gets depicted wearing something only like once in an anime and never in the games yet people love to associate that character with items?
