We're looking back at the brilliant sketches of our site from @len_grant over past couple of years... how much has happened so far at #MayfieldMCR! You'll be able to order the #MayfieldStories sketchbook very soon and follow our journey from the ground up!
At last week's Wind Down Workshops, we were dipping unfired clay vases full of wildflower seeds, into beeswax. “After using it for flowers, come Spring you can crumble it in the garden where the seeds inside will germinate” says Joe @standardpstudio! #MayfieldStories @len_grant
Wayne, Mark and Sam from RTC Safety Surfaces are installing a playground for the Mayfield Manchester garden. “It’s all made from recycled tyres,” says Mark. “And you can have any colour you like. Today we’re doing green, yellow, eggshell, red, purple and black.”

Behind the walls of #MayfieldMCR... huge hydraulic-powered buffers lie abandoned. This extremely high pressure power supply was principally used to compact cotton bales as tightly as possible before shipping across the world. #MayfieldStories #MayfieldHistory @len_grant
