@nashotobi Yes! Even made a mask and am working on assembling the full costume! Her names Miss Fish!
@ArtsyGrandpa Happy? Well... a character of mine that I love, uhhh my sketchbook and.. my fish (may he rest in piece), does that count..?!
@Geahk_Burchill Thanks! Though idk if it’s awkward sign Mayfly is me, lol. I haven’t drawn Popcorn in a very long time. I basically redesigned her and never drew her again. I really should draw her more though, she’s great
Anyways, wallpaper aside, I also finished this. I still have a long way to go with the watercolor/gouache, but for now tidying it up with pen helps out a lot. Look at him go, staring at blood, good for him
I believe this was the last thing inspired by my fish before he died. He was very sick and I had to make one more thing with him in it. There’s even a lil heart in the vines. Wishbones, you inspired two of my greatest things, Miss Fish and my first wallpaper, I miss you
Here’s another watercolor/gouache test, I tried darkening everything up and use gouache to build up light. It’s difficult since I haven’t yet get the willpower to go full on gouache yet. Still, it’s definitely getting better
Man, I wanna learn classical painting so much. Like my art is already very inspired by classical oil paintings, but to be able to truly do that with my cartoony twist would be absolutely lovely
I used my scanner for the first time in a very long time!! I never actually used it for my illustrations before, only ever used it to scan animation. It turned out great!
