Did you know I'm holding off on playing Night in the Woods until Meander Forth is in late alpha?

Back in summer 2020 I drew Licorice from MF and Mae from NitW in each other's style.

Brings "Nightmare eyes" to a new level. I think. I haven't played NitW.

Been gutsying up some of the backgrounds in the game, especially in the HUB world.

Here's a brand new enemy: The Territorial Fireball Ground-Eel. These pesky critters stare you down and shoot, well, you guessed it, fireballs at those they consider a threat to their dirt-piles.

I was hoping that I could use GameMaker Studio 2 to port Meander Forth to consoles, but I didn't realize that doing so would require paying $1,500 a month. Looks like we're gonna have to crowdfund if we want the game out on systems other than PC and android. #gamemaker #crowdfund

You can now shoot downwards when you're in the air! With the default gun, firing downwards slows your descent a little bit. It's a little like Cave Story.

I just spent five hours fixing the semisolid platforms. They used to be solids that turned on/off when below/above the player, but now the player simply lands on top of them. This fixes a whole lot of minor issues with the controls. #GameDev #IndieDev #Westlouia #platformer
